From 36 metres southwest of the junction with Brookside Drive to 80 metres southwest of the junction with Brookside Drive.

Reason

Comex 2000 will be carrying out works to install a new 2m tee in the carriageway to provide a new customer connection.

Access During the Closure

The application states that access will still be available for:

• Frontages (residents/businesses within the closure)
• Emergency services
• Pedestrians
• Cyclists

Diversion Route

Traffic will be diverted via:

• Church Lane
• Leek Road
• The Village
• Back to Brook Lane
  (and vice versa in the opposite direction).

Important: This is currently an application for a Temporary Road Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO). The closure is not officially confirmed until Staffordshire County Council approves and publishes the order. The application was submitted on 3 June 2026.
