Have Your Say on the Local Nature Recovery Strategy
The consultation on the Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS) is now open, and residents, businesses, landowners, community groups and other stakeholders are invited to take part.
Published: 17 June 2026
The Local Nature Recovery Strategy is a long-term plan supported by an interactive map that identifies opportunities to restore habitats, protect wildlife and enhance green spaces across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent. It brings together local knowledge and environmental evidence to highlight where action can have the greatest positive impact for nature and communities.
Feedback received through the consultation will help shape future priorities for protecting and improving the natural environment across the area.
We encourage everyone with an interest in the local environment to review the proposals and share their views.
